Eclectic mix of freshly prepared Continental cuisine, inviting "pub-like" atmosphere, great beer and a charm all its own... Il Spazio.
In the autumn of 2003, the owners of Il Spazio took a vision and forged a commitment to meld together adventuresome concepts into a cohesive restaurant experience. They moved from Denver, Colorado to a quaint college town in Northeast Missouri. Excited by the potential to carve out an unfilled niche, the pair bought a vacant retail/warehouse space and began renovations in late 2002. Harry Jonas built the building for his automobile dealership housing Oldsmobile and Chevrolet models beginning in the early 1930's. Many decades and businesses later, the renovated building with its original barrel ceiling, bow trusses, and original concrete floor now bustles with microbrewery energy seven days a week.
